Memorial Day is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. Many of us have forgotten the true meaning; it's just another 3-Day weekend.
Please pause for a moment of silence at 3pm on Monday, Memorial Day. The "National Moment of Remembrance" resolution was passed in 2000.
What a small way to pay homage to the true meaning of the day.
